Terms of Use
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
These terms apply only to the missions.photos website and the party app it offers (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Constellation. By using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Services.
Who Uses the Service
An organizer buys an event, receives a password-protected account to manage it, and configures its details (name, venue, dates). A guest joins the event by scanning a QR code and giving a name; they have no account and nothing to create to take part.
Description of Services
Missions.Photos lets an organizer create a party-style event, and lets that event's guests join it, photograph scenes suggested by missions, comment and react to other guests' photos, and view the event's photo feed.
Photo Content and Licence
You remain the owner of the photos you submit. By submitting them, you grant the event's organizer the right to view them, gather them into the event's souvenir album, and share them with the event's other guests. Our own use of your content is limited to what is needed to run the service — hosting it, moderating it, displaying it, and delivering it into the souvenir album. You confirm you hold the consent of any recognizable person who appears in a photo you submit.
Moderation
Every submitted photo is automatically scanned before publication and may be refused. The event's organizer can, at any time, exclude any photo already published in their event. Any guest can report a photo; a photo reported by several guests may be hidden until the organizer reviews it.
Ask for a Photo to Be Removed
Anyone who appears in a photo, or the parent or guardian of a minor who appears in it, can ask for it to be removed by writing to info@missions.photos with the event's name and a description of the photo. Within 2 business days of receiving the request, we hide the photo and forward the request to the organizer, who decides with that person, since the organizer collected the consents. The organizer may restore a hidden photo only if they hold the consent of the person pictured, or of a parent or guardian for a minor, and can show it. Copyright infringement notices go to the same address.
The Souvenir Album
The organizer can generate a souvenir album gathering the event's photos. The album stays available for the length set by the package purchased — 3, 6, or 12 months.
Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- use the Services lawfully and respectfully;
- submit only photos for which you hold the consent of the people photographed;
- not disrupt the proper functioning of the Services;
- respect other participants;
- post no sexual or nude content, no violent content, no hateful or discriminatory content, no harassment and nothing illegal.
The guest who posts a photo is answerable for it, including toward the people pictured and toward Constellation.
Intellectual Property
Content within the Services other than users' own photos (text, logos, code, names, etc.) is the exclusive property of Constellation or its licensors and is protected by copyright law. Any reproduction without written authorization is prohibited.
Organizer Responsibility
The organizer is responsible for the event they run. Before the event, they must obtain the consent of every participant to be photographed and to have their photos shared in the event's album, and the consent of a parent or guardian for every minor; the parental authorization form offered in the "Minors" section serves that purpose. Constellation does not collect these consents. The organizer agrees to indemnify Constellation and hold it harmless only against claims arising from their own failures: a consent they did not obtain, or a removal request forwarded to them under "Ask for a Photo to Be Removed" that they did not act on. This indemnity does not cover a claim arising solely from a photo a guest posted against these terms; that guest remains responsible for it. The organizer has no duty to watch the event feed live; they act on the reports and removal requests they receive.
Limitation of Liability
Constellation shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services. The Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
Cancellation and Refund
You may cancel your event at any time before its scheduled start time. We then refund the amount paid, minus the processing fee that Stripe, our payment provider, kept on that payment; the portal shows you both amounts before you confirm the cancellation. There is no waiting period between cancellations. Once the event has started, you can no longer cancel it yourself and no refund is owed. Until the event starts, you may also postpone it from your portal.
Minors
Missions.photos is not intended to be purchased or used independently by a minor. At the time of purchase, the organizer confirms they are an adult and hold parental authority, or the consent of a parent or guardian, for any minor who will take part in the event.
A form for a parent or guardian to sign is available: See the parental authorization forms (French and English)
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Québec. If you access the Services from the United States, you agree that your use is nonetheless governed by the Québec and Canadian law described above.
Changes
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the site. It is your responsibility to check this page regularly.
